Key Projects & Initiatives

1. CHIMEC Iraq Partnership (1998–2016)

Served as Regional Director for CHIMEC S.p.A, Italy, leading the supply of critical chemicals to Iraq’s oil & gas sector during a period of embargo. Successfully established Iraq’s first chemical blending unit in collaboration with the Ministry of Oil — a pioneering milestone in the country’s energy independence.

2. AUOP-Licensed Refinery Projects

Led the implementation of UOP technologies across multiple Iraqi refineries, driving modernization in refining processes, fuel quality, and production efficiency. These projects represent strategic partnerships in upgrading national refining capabilities.

3. Aqaba Oil Storage Terminal (Jordan)

Founder and strategic developer of the region’s first private oil storage terminal in Aqaba, Jordan — executed in partnership with ADC Jordan. The facility supports regional fuel logistics and trading, reinforcing energy flexibility and infrastructure diversification.

4. Isomerization & Naphtha Splitter Plants

Delivered major EPC projects including a 10,000 BPSD Isomerization Unit and Light Naphtha Splitter, enabling higher-octane fuel production and downstream efficiency.

5. Topping Unit – 40,000 Barrels/Day

Oversaw the engineering and execution of a large-scale topping unit, bolstering domestic crude processing and fueling national consumption needs.
